Psychologist

My approach is primarily humanistic while drawing from a variety of healing modalities, with a particular focus on Internal Family Systems and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. I hold a safe, non-judgmental space of compassion and curiosity to support you in accessing your inner healing intelligence that can guide you toward the expression of your unique gifts and fulfillment of your aspirations.
I am a Licensed Psychologist and received my Doctorate from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Transpersonal Psychology integrates psychology with spirituality and embraces consciousness studies, indigenous wisdom, Eastern philosophies, and other esoteric knowledge and practices from various cultures around the world. I enjoy supporting my clients with integrating their spiritual framework and practices into our therapeutic work together. I conducted my dissertation research on the experiences and integration of transpersonal phenomena induced by electronic dance music events and published two journal articles from my research in the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies in September 2017, volume 36, issue 1. This research helped to enhance my understanding of mystical, expanded, and altered states of consciousness and the importance of ongoing integration of these states into daily life to harness the insights provided and create positive change in one’s life and in the world. In my therapeutic work, I enjoy doing integration work with my clients, whether it’s through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with me or experiences with psychedelics outside of the therapeutic container or other practices that alter consciousness, such as meditation. I also work for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) as an Adherence Rater for clinical trials exploring the efficacy of MDMA-Assisted Therapy to treat Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. This role has provided me with extensive training and a strong foundation for understanding how these medicines that alter consciousness can assist the therapeutic process and informs me in my KAP work with clients.
